Biography
My journey into photography began in my early 30s when I enrolled in my first beginner's photography course. By embracing image critiques in those pre-digital film days, I uncovered the profound truth behind 'You need the negatives to develop'.
A few years earlier, I had earned my BSc (with honors) in Mathematics and Computer Science, specializing in Computer Graphics and Image Processing. Following my graduation, I worked as an R&D software engineer for a few years, delving into the depths of the field.
As my interest in photography evolved, I have learned to appreciate the exquisite beauty in blending both worlds, applying the fascinating elegance and harmony of art and science.
In my early 40s, a five-year period living and working in Texas sparked my passion for nature photography and I began practicing bird photography, which has since become one of my favorite areas of focus.
